Can the Cornerstone Nucleo unseat the mighty CXM1978 as our favourite reverb?

Welcome to the show. We were totally blown away by Cornerstone Nucleo Paul Davids Signature Reverb when we heard it for a video a few weeks back. And perhaps because of the sliders and perhaps because of the colour, comparisons were immediately drawn to the mighty, the venerable, the deeply hallowed Chase Bliss Audio CXM1978. Yes, the giant white beast with actual moving faders sits unassailed as our favourite pedal reverb of all time ever… despite the not inconsiderable required pedalboard real estate, and terrifying, trouser-browning price.
Back down on Planet Earth, what about the dear old Boss RV-200? Is it really left in the dust by the sparkly, flashier verbs? Let’s find out.
Enjoy the show!

A note on the RV-200. We barely touched any of the other modes. Apologies - we should have used the ‘Modulate’ algorithm in the last bit of playing. Unfortunately I can’t see the controls well enough to remember it's there and Dan, er, dunno.

GET YOUR COGS OFF: In your YouTube ‘cog’ settings options, there is a ‘stable volume’ option. If you want the audio to be the closest to what we recorded, turn ‘stable volume’ OFF.

Interesting bits and go to sections…
